The Belden Brick Company traces it's roots all the way back to 1885, to the Diebold Fire Brick Company founded in Canton, Ohio with Henry S. Belden. 135 years later, they're still going strong, producing nearly 250 million brick annually between of its own plants, not counting the four other plants it owns through acquisition of Redland Brick in 1996. They are the sixth largest manufacturer of brick in the continental United States, and are the largest family owned brick company in the United States, The Belden Brick Company being currently managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the Belden family.
